“Facilities are good, no customer service”

The beach!!! Super clean and the water is flawless. The front desk is lacking customer service. We arrived for check‑in and it was a 4‑star treatment: no welcome drink, they practically threw hot towels in a plastic bag in our face. Seriously? That’s how you treat your customers upon arrival. I’ve seen better welcoming from a holiday resort. No one asked us how our stay was or about our opinion. Disappointed in Rixos.

“Хороший отель для семейного отдыха с детьми!”

Honestly, I had mixed feelings about the hotel. On the plus side: the beach is great, I didn’t expect that in the UAE. The water and sand quality aren’t Maldivian, but they’re at the level of a decent Southeast Asian resort. The hotel is styled in classic Persian décor, and at first I felt like I’d arrived in Egypt. The food is good—no questions there, everything was very tasty and plentiful. I heard complaints about the lack of a kids’ table, and it really is missing. We went to a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant; it was cool. On the downside: it’s boring. After dinner the hotel goes quiet, with only a few families with kids and a few couples that seem to have stumbled in by accident. I don’t recommend going here if you’re traveling with kids. Also, the old room stock needs renovation; it’s time for a rebuild.
