The bed was good and the shower was nice, and the location is close to the city center, but the breakfast could have had more options.

The historic building is great with an interesting history, a large park with nice trees and a bunch of little birds roaming around, wonderfully quiet yet very close to the old town (and also to the picturesque Beginenhof). The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the equipment is modest (no hair dryer, no TV), but functional. Breakfast is fine, but there are no special extras (I would have liked tomatoes, cucumbers, salad, some fresh stuff). The reception staff are very friendly! Everything was fine, only I would have liked a bit more variety at breakfast.
