I want to give a special thank you to the host at Pousada Cantoria. We heard a noise on the roof of the suite at night and told her the next morning. She went straight away and found that it was little marsupial kids on the roof. She said that to fix it permanently they would have to take apart part of the structure, but because it was Carnival she didn’t have a professional available to do it right then. Still, with a lot of honesty and a sense of responsibility, she did the fairest thing: she refunded us in full so we could stay at a nearby inn. That’s a rare and admirable attitude. While we were at Cantoria we were very well received. The service was flawless, the breakfast was simply divine, the pool water was warm, and the suites were extremely comfortable and cozy. We were very happy with the transparency, the care, and the way everything was handled. It shows character, professionalism, and respect for the guest. Our gratitude and admiration. 👏🏻 The Wi‑Fi didn’t work very well in the rooms, but we told the host and she said she would try to fix it soon.
Ana greeted us with a warm smile and took great care of us, even sharing stories about Cumuru. The inn was tidy, the rooms comfy, and we left already planning a return. Definitely a place to come back to.

The bedroom and bathroom felt roomy, and the linens and towels were of good quality. Nothing fancy, but everything was clean and functional.
