The location was lovely, close to a park and just a 20‑minute walk to the beach; the Captains Quarters was perfect for a couple of nights away, though we arrived in the dark and were unsure about walking in the local area at night, but it turned out to be totally safe.

The location was great, but the pull‑out bed for the third person in the room booked for three adults was very uncomfortable and not fit for purpose.

The location was 10 minutes’ walk from Falmouth, with a lovely park opposite and off‑street parking; tea, coffee, sugar, milk and biscuits were provided.

The room was clean and the shower was great, and check‑in was easy, but the stairs were extremely steep and narrow, making it almost impossible to carry a suitcase.
