Just outside Assisi, the hotel is quiet and stunning. Breakfast was generous and amazing, and they accommodated my gluten‑free needs very well. The room was lovely and there was interesting reading material. If you don’t have a car you’ll have to walk, but Filippo kindly offered us a ride and was very gracious and kind.

I felt at home, perhaps even better than home! The owner is a pleasant, straightforward, and friendly person, with no unnecessary formalities or flowery language. The property is surrounded by greenery and radiates a unique warmth. Breakfast was rich, with many homemade items. We stayed for two days and each morning offered a different selection, even though it was late October and only we were there. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and good luck with everything, dear Mr. Filippo… I’ll see you in Ischia! 😉

Honestly, we loved everything. Filippo was fantastic, arriving each morning with something new for breakfast made by his daughter, chatting and giving great advice on where and how to go. The place was always spotless. Definitely want to return and tell family and friends.
