The view from the window on the third floor looked out over the city, but the lack of an elevator was a downside, and the breakfasts were weak—only the espresso coffee tasted good.

This place is really cool. The breakfasts are truly great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the parking right in front of the building is a plus. The location is awesome, everything is close by. We'll definitely come back!

The room was spacious and the bedding had a pleasant scent, though the mattress was firm and the bed was large. Getting to the tram stop was easy, and just three stops away was the city centre. Breakfast was decent. On 3/4 October 2026 the daytime temperature hovered around 20 °C and night about 8 °C, yet the hotel felt cold. The floor panels were already worn out and damaged. Tea bags were loosely taken out of a bulk package. There was no water bottle in the room. The worst part was the huge bathroom from a facelift 20 years ago that wasn’t heated; the shower was left open in the cold room, which was uninviting. The door didn’t have a proper seal and squeaked. The road to the hotel was in bad condition.

The apartment was spacious and the breakfast varied. The room was cold. I didn’t realize we had to check in ourselves with a device, and later received a message that the stay was cancelled for no-show. After a phone call with Royal Residence, everything was sorted out.
