“Comfortable, clean base in Kasese. A great spot to regroup after the Rwenzori.”

After nine exhausting days in the Rwenzori, I was happy to be greeted by friendly staff and a cold glass of passionfruit juice. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, the wifi worked, and the restaurant was spacious and comfortable. The pizza wasn’t particularly Italian, but it worked; I wouldn’t order it again. I’d choose the Indian food instead, which looked great. Also, the bowl of eggs is for the omelette, not hard‑boiled; the staff caught us before we made a mess.

The spot was great, but they pulled three of our rooms without a heads‑up during a big local event, so we had to fight hard for a replacement.

“Very comfortable spot to stay with a good restaurant.”

Our stay was excellent because of the staff. Very friendly on check-in and whilst we were eating at the restaurant. The wait staff in the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. Air Conditioning took some work to get going

“Don’t overcharge me for laundry.”

Being downtown, just two blocks from the Kasese Community Health and Education Foundation, made this place ideal for work, but the billing was a mess: I paid the day before check‑out, received a receipt with an extra $20 for “accommodations and laundry,” then was handed a separate laundry bill on the day I left even though I never used laundry services; the staff admitted it was a mistake on the first receipt, which is unacceptable.

“Vernünftiges Hotel für eine Übernachtung”

The hotel in Kasese was clean and tidy, a hassle‑free late check‑out was possible without extra charge, and the nearby shops and market were within walking distance; the breakfast buffet was well arranged with plenty of choices, and the room’s AC worked flawlessly. However, the room offered almost no storage, no light switch or outlet within reach from the bed, and the mosquito net could only be shut with a clothespin.
