The twin‑bed room was very functional despite its small size, with thoughtful placement of lighting, power outlets, etc.; the quietness, the excellent breakfast featuring fresh, high‑quality products, and the good value all stood out. However, the hotel felt impersonal, there was no front‑desk staff after 8 pm (access was by code), and the restaurant closed from Friday evening onward, forcing guests to go downtown for dinner.

“2nd overnight stay”

We stayed there again on our return trip and it was even better than the first time because we could dine at the hotel; the restaurant opens Monday to Thursday evenings and offers a buffet with a choice of 2 or 3 courses for a fixed price, which turned out to be excellent value with plenty of options and overall high quality. The only downside was the absence of a kettle in the room, though we appreciated the water dispenser at reception.

The location was great, and the staff were kind even when arriving close to closing time, which we appreciated.
