“Ottimo potenziale, peccato però…”
The place is very beautiful and the food is excellent, but we couldn’t fully enjoy it. We had planned to stay two nights to celebrate our anniversary with my husband, but unfortunately we were forced to leave after the first night. We encountered several problems, some easily overcome and others less so. When we arrived, the pool was practically unusable because the bottom was completely green, a result of bad weather two days earlier. The jacuzzi was almost non‑functional, with only one out of four jets working. We still hoped the cleaning would finish the next day, and indeed the morning after the pool was almost completely clean; unfortunately, at 11:55 a staff member informed us that at 12:00 we would have to leave the pool because events were scheduled, so we wouldn’t be able to use it for the rest of the day. We were there to relax for a weekend, and no one had warned us beforehand about the situation. Therefore, I strongly recommend checking in advance whether events will be held at the resort if you plan to use the pool. In the end, the owner was available for a partial refund, so at least financially we resolved part of the issue, but our celebrations were unfortunately ruined by this lack of transparency and communication. It’s a real shame because we expected something different based on the reviews. Maybe we were unlucky and caught a “no” weekend. One more thing: the poolside bar listed in the amenities does not actually exist; you have to order from the restaurant.
