Great location.
“Great location and good value for money.”
The hotel’s location was convenient for a meeting I attended, and parking on the premises was available at a very reasonable rate; the breakfast buffet offered a good variety and plenty of food, making it overall good value for money. The shower was quite small and a bit difficult to get in and out of, but that’s typical in European hotels. The room faced the front street, yet it was quiet at night and the bed was very comfortable.

The only thing that worked for us was the location, even though it’s far from Frankfurt it’s easy to reach by public transport. The hotel had no air‑conditioning; it was 36 °C outside and the ceiling fan only ran when the ten ceiling lights were on, which added more heat than it removed. I complained at reception and the gentleman there just shook his head and kept saying “not okay, not okay,” which we’d already noticed. We asked to change rooms but nothing happened. Their “solution” was to bring one of the many fans from the lobby, which still didn’t cool the room at all. It felt like staying in a sauna. The mattress was terrible and smelled weird, probably from previous guests’ sweat, and the pillow was a lumpy, unidentifiable thing. The curtains didn’t fully cover the windows (the room faced the main street) and were dirty – one even looked like it had blood on it, and the walls were similarly stained. The toilet lacked a holder for toilet paper, and the shower had no place to put toiletries. Breakfast offered some variety but the items were of very low quality. We only left because we’d already paid. If the platform keeps listing this hotel, they risk losing customers.
