The accommodation is lovely on a lemon plantation with a great pool. Breakfast is simple but good. We had a room in the main house, which was very clean and quiet. You can walk to the town from there, but it’s along a heavily trafficked road. Currently a beach access is being finished, which will make it easier to walk into town.

We stayed at the Lumia near town, older rooms but a new large pool overlooking the sea and Etna. The breakfast room was very charming and idyllic. The next day we switched to Lumia Resort, which was heavenly, modern, and luxurious. Huge rooms and a very large, nice bathroom. There was also a large pool and a brand‑new restaurant with good cuisine; the staff and owners, the same in both sites, were also very nice. The rooms felt a bit oppressive and dated. The bed was makeshift and the bathroom was… well.

The pool offers a view of Etna on one side and the sea on the other. It’s calm and peaceful. Walking access to the sea is not very easy.

A fantastic pool with a stunning view of Etna, and the staff were always super friendly and ready to help. Breakfast was good, and the room was very spacious and clean. There were plenty of spots on the property to sit in the sun or shade. The bed felt a bit old and less comfortable, but still fine. The location works well if you have a car, but there are few options within walking distance.
