“Schönes Hotel auf dem Lande mit Optimierungspotenzial”
I stayed in the side building, a spacious hotel room that could almost be called an apartment, complete with a well-equipped kitchenette and a large bathroom featuring a fantastic shower and an impeccable bed; the decor was a bit plain but everything was spotless. The sauna in the old boiler room was lovely and practical, though the lounge area was chilly and there were no blankets, so a bathrobe was recommended. The staff everywhere were very friendly and relaxed, and check‑in was smooth. The location was quiet and scenic in the off‑season, with a nearby campsite and a castle‑like main building. However, a few things could be improved: window mosquito nets would help, bedside tables on both sides of the bed are missing, the TV sits far from the bed and there is no couch. Breakfast was disappointing, consisting of thin filtered coffee from a thermos, a small display of tiny portions rather than a buffet, and only one slice or piece of everything; only upon request was a fresh omelette offered. Despite the warm staff, the breakfast experience left a sour taste, so next time I’ll skip it and bring my own.
