Free private parking is provided. Nearby attractions include Colle di Val d'Elsa (30 minutes), Castellina In Chianti (21 km), and Alto Merse nature area (35 minutes).

It feels like paradise, a fantastic location amid green and nature, absolute relaxation. Our apartment was in a recently renovated farmhouse with modern furnishings. The location is very strategic, only 10 minutes from Siena, truly perfect. The pool was often overcrowded and some guests were quite noisy playing water football and throwing themselves on the mattresses; I understand it’s not the hotel’s fault but the people’s lack of etiquette.

We discovered a tiny gem set in a breathtaking region, perfect for peace and relaxation any time of year; even in this scorching summer the pool offered daytime relief and a gentle night‑time breeze thanks to the hill‑top placement of the various dependances, so the heat never bothered us. The views and hospitality were first‑rate, and the staff gave us great tips on food, excursions, tastings and activities, making it impossible to get bored whether you stay two days or several weeks. Its spot is ideal for reaching Siena in about 10 minutes by car and also for exploring places like Val d’Orcia. Their own wine and olive oil were excellent, and we’ll definitely be back.

The estate perched on the Tuscan hills is truly beautiful, with several self‑contained farmhouses; we chose the largest first‑floor apartment, which had four rooms each with its own bathroom, a huge living area with spectacular vineyard and olive‑grove views, a separate kitchen, plus a private courtyard and patio. Every room had air‑conditioning and even ceiling fans, and the flat was fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The reception team were always very friendly and quick to help whenever needed. The only issue was that the booking site didn’t mention that the lovely, well‑maintained pool is only near the Poggio farmhouse, requiring at least a 10‑minute walk from the other houses—a pleasant stroll, but we had an elderly guest and had to use the car, whereas the estate’s own website made this clear.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay in a gorgeous, tranquil setting, appreciating the kindness and availability of our hosts. The very effective air‑conditioning and the pool kept us comfortably cool during the heat wave, and the location made it easy to explore many sights. We’ll gladly return. The only downside was the lack of cooking utensils and dishes.
