The location was convenient to Sterling State Park, the rooms were clean, the staff was pleasant, and breakfast was actually very good, but the indoor pool was under renovation and I wish that had been known before booking.

The pool was fine, but everything else was bad: flat pillows, cleaners touched all my belongings and left stuff in my bag while I was at work.

The hotel was very clean, had a nice indoor pool and hot tub, and was well maintained by a family run business, yet the pillows were old, lacked protectors, the check‑in lady was not friendly—she never smiled or spoke, just accommodated my request for an extra blanket, probably just exhausted from running the hotel.

We managed to swap from a second‑floor room to a first‑floor one because there were no elevators, but the lack of an elevator was a hassle and the jet tub seemed to need a thorough sanitizing and cleaning.
