I rated it 10.0/10: the lodge is close to Lagoa Azul and offers kayaks for that trip; the beach is small but lovely, the breakfast is incredible, the décor is beautiful and everything is clean, and the staff are great.

I gave it 10.0/10: the food was fantastic, especially breakfast; the rooms were lovingly furnished and we spent a lot of time on the kayaks; Luana welcomed us warmly, but the mosquitoes were a problem.

The property is very beautiful and well kept. During our stay the on‑site beach had plenty of sunbeds and loungers. The free kayaks were great for exploring the surrounding beaches. A boat trip to other beaches (Lopes Mendes) would also have been organized by the hotel – as a group tour with other guests it would have cost about 30€ per person. Unfortunately we had to cancel that because of bad weather. The room was clean, the bed was large and from the balcony you could enjoy a magnificent view of the sea. The food at the restaurant was all tasty, both the included breakfast buffet and the lunch/dinner à la carte. The staff were always polite and helpful. The long waiting times that many have already mentioned for lunch and dinner were indeed a small criticism for us. Under an hour you unfortunately do not get your food. We also found the bathroom a little cramped.

I scored it 9.0/10: it felt very remote and private, the staff were super kind and helpful, the restaurant food was amazing for both breakfast and dinner, and we felt very privileged and well‑received.

Idyllic location, lovely staff, great food. You arrive and leave by boat which feels pretty special
