The lady assigned us a room that was more spacious than the one we booked. The location is fantastic; opening the windows to see the sea is always a sight. The direct beach access is superb! A quick refresh of the rooms would help, the detail care and furnishings feel a bit neglected. Overall, it’s passable for one night.

Caterina is humane and has a truly rare willingness, service is impeccable. It’s convenient to have breakfast and possibly lunch or dinner at the restaurant with reasonable prices, a good mini‑fridge and towel changes in the room. The traffic on the main road partially spoils the wonderful sea view and sunset, and to reach the centre you have to walk uphill unless you take the train.

The sea‑front position on San Marco beach is great. It’s close to the train station and the historic centre. The bed has a firm mattress, comfortable pillows, the bathroom is functional, the TV is new, the air‑conditioner works perfectly, the wardrobe is spacious with many drawers. A small bar fridge is present. Cleaning is meticulous. The restaurant/pizzeria below, owned by the same company, is excellent. The only improvement needed concerns the railings of the internal stairs, but that’s a minor detail.
