I liked the stay overall, but it was odd when a cleaning lady entered while I was still asleep.

Linda greeted us warmly and the single-night stay was comfortable; the indoor braai was a nice touch when it rained that evening. We arrived late and exhausted, and Linda kindly let us stay an extra 30 minutes past the usual checkout. The shower becomes slippery when wet— a nonslip mat would have helped. We were disappointed that the pool shown on the website was actually on the host's property across the street, not in the yard where we were staying; this should be clarified online.

This place was a real gem - the rooms were huge and spotlessly clean. We were blown away by how much space we had, and it made our stay feel like a real treat. The only problem was that we couldn't find anything to complain about.

Check-in was a breeze, and the interior space and equipment were great. However, I was really looking forward to using the pool, but it's actually located elsewhere and requires a trip to get to it. To make matters worse, there were no sun loungers, and the area around the pool wasn't exactly clean. The exterior of the property was secured with grilles all around, which gave me a bit of an enclosed feeling. The barbecue was also unusable, and there were no grills to speak of.
