Nothing. Everything, because the hotel has been closed since last November. We were disappointed because we weren’t notified; we had to stay in a hostel, which wasn’t very comfortable. We’re pilgrims and had already walked 22 kilometres. We would have liked compensation.

Wir hatten 2 Doppelzimmer ( gesamt 152,00 EURO im Voraus über Klarna bezahlt. Als wir am 12.09.2026 am Mittag am Hotel ankamen standen wir vor verschlossener Tür. Dieses Hotel ist ist seit Ca 1,5 Jahren geschlossen. Jetzt muß ich zich Mails mit Fragen beantworden, die eigentlich in Ihren Rechnern haben müsste um Mein Geld zurück zu bekommen. Zumal ich im Nachhinein mal einige Kundenbewertungen gelesen habe. Eine Bewertung vom 04.08.2025 sagte ein Gast: Er war der letzte Gast in diesem Hotel, Seit dem ist es geschlossen. Über ein Jahr und Bookong.Com verkauft die Zimmer immer noch!!!

When I arrived, the door was shut and the hotel was already closed for some time. I couldn’t reach the property by phone or email, so I had to book and pay for another place on short notice. The amount I paid for the unused night has not yet been refunded.
Beware of this hotel—don’t book it! We found the door locked and had to find another place. We learned from neighbours that it’s been closed for a long time. It’s a shame that the accommodation is still listed. We haven’t received a refund yet. M & M
I booked this place for 12‑13.9.26, paid ahead, and on arrival found the door locked – the hotel was closed. I tried calling both the mobile and landline, but no one answered. I sent a message and got no reply, neither from the owner nor from the booking site. Because of the wine festival in Freyburg on those dates, I couldn’t find any other room, so I had to drive three hours back home and still haven’t received a refund.
