The front desk was friendly and the lodge sits in a great spot. Staff were nice and the breakfast was good. However, the shower in the bathroom never heated up, there were several mold spots on the ceiling and in the shower box, and the exit mat from the box looked dirty. I was unlucky to have noisy neighbors next door and on the floor above, with kids and adults running through the hallways, towels and clothes hanging on the balconies—something the lodge’s rules forbid. I went down to the reception to ask for two bottles of water and requested they be added to my room bill, but they said that wasn’t allowed. I had to return to my room to get cash to pay, which felt a bit odd and embarrassing.

The lodge is well located in the center (great for those without cars because you can walk to the spots), cozy, pretty and organized (if you’re after luxury and extravagance, look for places closer to the beach). Breakfast was excellent with many fruit options, and a special shout‑out to the reception staff Rafael & Pamela for being welcoming and helpful throughout my stay. A third person helped me with a car issue, though I didn’t catch his name. Overall, we’d stay there again. The door handle is a bit tricky at first but works once you get used to it. The TV sometimes loses signal for no reason (usually it comes back after a while). There were few tables for breakfast; when we arrived it was full and we couldn’t eat right away, so we had to wait until a family vacated a table.
