The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the main sights and gives you a sense of independence, which I liked. Unfortunately the heating was all over the place and the wiring was exposed inside the room, making it feel unsafe.

The flat is spacious and sits in a handy spot, but the heating never really kicked in and the owners never came to fix it even after I called. On top of that, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired.

The cabin was super comfortable, set in beautiful grounds, and the hot shower was a treat; the host was friendly and even offered to store our bikes inside, though we left them outside because they were filthy. The only hassle was that the app claimed credit‑card payments were accepted, which wasn’t true, and pulling cash in Argentina was pricey – my bank covered the $20 fee for a $120 withdrawal, but the $60 limit per transaction was annoying.
