“Even though we only stayed one night it renewed our souls.”

The location was gorgeous—quiet, and oddly, we were opposite a playground that stayed empty in the mornings. The cabin was spotless, the fridge clean, everything immaculate. A charming little deck let us watch the birds. The staff treated us like friends. It was a fabulous experience. We’d love to stay longer, but we had already booked and paid for the next destination.

“It was great, but all the above would have made it perfect. Great staff, excellent BBQ area and park”

The location was great, and the staff were friendly and patient. The rooms were very poor and clearly needed an update. The gardens were beautiful. Cleanliness was an issue, and there was a lack of seating outside the room, especially in the grassed area. I found it hard to get up and down the ground while sitting on a picnic rug.

“Very accommodating”

The staff were amazing. They couldn’t put us in the unit we first booked because ants had taken it over, but they upgraded us to a nicer unit and did their best to keep us for the original dates. Since they couldn’t accommodate us on those dates, they refunded the nights they couldn’t host us. It was a lovely stay. For families, only the master bed is made; linen and blankets for the kids’ bunks are provided, but you’ll need to make them up yourself. That’s not something we’ve seen at other similar parks, but it’s not a big deal.

The stunning setting on a lawn surrounded by pines and silver birch trees made it feel very tranquil and relaxing.
