1 double bed
Super nette und zuvorkommende Besitzerin. Sehr große Zimmer und top Ausstattung mit Wasserkocher, Tee/Kaffee, Regenschirm. Frühstück war auch sehr lecker!
There was one room in this homestay. The lady was lovely and made a tasty breakfast. You have to climb a short uphill walk to reach the accommodation, which was fine for me but worth knowing.
“ここに泊まってエッラが本当に好きな場所になりました”
Near Ella town it’s quite noisy even late at night, but this place is a bit farther out (just a 5‑minute walk) so you can stay quiet. A cute guard dog greets you, the host is really nice, and breakfast offers a generous Sri Lankan morning that’s delicious. Wi‑Fi is good, laundry service is available, and among all the places I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka, this is my favorite so far.
“Welcoming, friendly and comfortable”
The homestay was incredibly lovely, the bed was huge and comfy, breakfast was great, and the host was very kind and helpful. The pet dog was a highlight – such a sweet boy.
“Buena ubicación. Cumple su función.”
I liked that the location was next to the city center and let me walk everywhere, which is rare in Sri Lanka. I appreciated that breakfast included avocado and pineapple and that a driver was offered at a good price. I didn’t like that there were a lot of ants in the bathroom and that the path to the hotel was a bit tricky, but being in the center makes it worthwhile. I also didn’t like that the house lady didn’t speak English, but we managed to get by. The lights and water went out several times, but that’s probably normal in this country. The breakfast coffee was in powder and the milk too, but you can walk a few meters to the main street for a good cup of coffee.
