A lovely, quiet spot right in the countryside. Owner Pieter is very friendly and shares all the details about the stay and surroundings. Nothing is lacking, and you can use the hot tub or infrared sauna (for a fee) with a fantastic view, or the pool with an equally nice view. At the back of the house by the pool you can sit and enjoy a drink in the afternoon sun—great base for a 40‑minute trip to Pairi Daiza. The only drawback is that inside you can’t look out at the beautiful view from the back of the house, and the bed feels a bit snug if you’re taller or staying longer.

The hospitality, location, and the kitchenette for a nice breakfast are all great, and there are several walking routes that start from the cottage! It is a bit remote, but that’s exactly why we chose it. Beautiful!

The host was super friendly and the bathroom felt like a spa—so luxurious. I was welcomed right away and the amenities were top‑notch.

Pieter, Rozemarijn and their shy daughter made us feel right at home. They speak multiple languages, which was a lifesaver because my French is as good as my Chinese! The place is perfect for peace lovers—sunset in the garden, bats flying, deer (though they hid in the heat), and a saltwater pool that’s a treat. Even in the mornings the birds sing. I had a great time and will come back. Don’t miss the massage with Rozemarijn.
