The apartment felt huge, which was great, but the only air‑conditioning was stuck in the bedroom. When the heat hit the rest of the flat it was practically unusable during the season I visited. If you can tolerate the warmth outside the sleeping area, the space itself is pleasant.

Staff were friendly and the place was tidy, though the furnishings could use an upgrade and the walls let a lot of noise in. The location is solid – restaurants and supermarkets are just a short walk away – but you’ll need a car to get around, and parking was never an issue. The photos match the unit, albeit a bit underwhelming, making it a solid cheap‑price option.

The spot is right where you want to be and the host gave spot‑on tips for getting around. Unfortunately the pictures seem to be from two different apartments, so I felt a bit misled. Only the bedroom had air‑conditioning; the rest of the house turned into a sauna, though the bedroom AC kept the night comfortable.

The bed was big and comfy, and the bedroom had working air‑conditioning. Gianni was really helpful, pointing us toward local sights, and there’s a supermarket right across the street. The dining‑room area, however, had no cooling and got unbearably hot.

“Très bien !”

The flat was roomy and clean, and the owner made us feel welcome right away; it’s also close to the town centre and little shops. On the downside, the street is noisy with groups gathering late at night and early in the morning, and the place isn’t sound‑proofed. It’s pretty dark with just one front‑door window, the kitchen is bare‑bones (no oven, microwave or stove), and there was no soap in the shower.
