We spent four nights at Corcovado Adventures and loved every minute. The cabins are basic – just a place to sleep – but the tours (national park, Isla del Caño) and endless days on the garden and beach made up for it. Wildlife was everywhere: sloths on our balcony, toucans, parrots, howler monkeys and capuchins around the sunset bay.

The spot is spot‑on and the team went out of their way to cater to our vegan and vegetarian meals. You can really tell they care about making guests comfortable. Everything ran smoothly and the service felt genuinely attentive.

The setting is absolutely breathtaking, but the rooms themselves are seriously rundown. While the surroundings make up for a lot, the accommodation feels like it needs a major upgrade.

Arrived to find the room didn’t even have a lock and there was no food available, so I had to find another place and cancel my reservation. Communication was poor after a long, remote journey, though the later issues were eventually sorted out. I can’t recommend this spot unless you’re ready for a lot of inconvenience.

“***AVOID*** the owner is selling it. it's quickly turning into a dump”

This place is basically abandoned – the owner has stopped looking after it and it’s up for sale. We ran into multiple problems with the facilities, and when we complained the manager dismissed us, called us liars, and was only reachable via WhatsApp. No staff were on site, and other travelers in the hostel were equally shocked by the conditions. Skip this and choose one of the many better options nearby.
