“Appena sufficiente”
Staying inside the park gave us a natural feel, and the adjoining restaurant with its good music was excellent in the evenings, but breakfast fell short—a single spoon of jam for four, minimal eggs and arepa, water charged an extra 8000 pesos, a morning without tea or jam, toast that arrived limp, and milk and coffee served in a glass only half full; the restaurant owner was rather off‑putting, while the hostel owner did everything he could for the guests.
The staff and location were superb for visiting the park, they assisted with transfers and were delightful.
“2 nuits dans le parc de Tayrona”
The staff were welcoming and friendly, the hotel was well situated, we liked accessing the neighboring restaurant’s pool and the breakfast, and the stay allowed for total disconnection, though the price of bottled water was too high.
“Deludente, può migliorare molto”
The spot was great and the owner was friendly (not like the restaurant owners), yet the breakfast was truly lacking—a single spoonful of jam meant for four people, tiny portions of eggs and arepa, water sold at an extra 8000 pesos, one morning without tea or jam, toast that arrived soggy, and milk and coffee served in a half‑filled glass; the restaurant owner was quite unpleasant, whereas the hostel owner went out of his way to meet guests’ needs.
“Incursion dans la jungle de tayrona”
The welcome was very friendly and Alex was always available to answer our questions; the hotel is tiny and unpretentious, which we liked a lot. By walking trails we could enjoy other hotels’ facilities like restaurants and pools, and we felt surrounded by jungle sounds of parrots and howler monkeys, with beautiful wildlife and flora.
