“Beware of booking here”
Beautiful location above the hill of Chefchauen. Picturesque property and nice evening meal. Beware of booking here!!! At first, we were very happy with the accomodation, check in was smooth and we had a delicious meal that evening at the premises. Things however went very downhill after that!!! After retiring for the night, we were woken up at 10pm by the owners, who told us we had to leave the property as they had double booked, and wanted to put other guests in our room. What ensued was two hours of stressful and heated discussions. Reasons for the mixup continued to change (including new owners, new manager, employee stealing booking money - none of which gave us any reason why we should have to leave when the other guests hadn’t arrived yet) leaving us very doubtful as to the honesty of the owners. Additionally, the ‘managers brother’ - who was trying to make us leave. The owners told us that if we didn’t leave they would call the authorities…and that we could to stay at a neighbouring property - however they couldn’t/wouldn’t refund us our payment for the night AND that we would have to pay an additional (unconfirmed) price for the alternative stay. The next morning, with assistance from bookings.com, the rest of our booking was canceled and refunded due to the situation…however on leaving, the owners tried to make us pay additional money to cover their costs of putting the other guests up in the next hotel. When we told them that this was ridiculous and not our cost to wear - and that we would report them to the tourist police, they said that this situation had happened MANY TIMES BEFORE and that the tourist police would do nothing. The owner was a very interesting fellow. Knowledgeable and helpful. To be able to look down on Chefchaouen as the sun set over the mountain and the lights slowly came on in the town was fantastic. A little odd to get to , but worth the drive. I understand the road is to be completed in the near future. A great stay at a beautiful

Repas et petits déjeuners moyens. Pieces communes et chambres très froides. Nous devions rester deux nuits , vu le très moyen confort nous sommes restés qu'une nuit et refus de l'hôte de nous rembourser la deuxième nuit
La vue Logement très correct . Le nouveau propriétaire est très attentionné.service impeccable Possibilité de dîner sur place pour 125 dirhams. En fait le propriétaire a changé sans que nous soyons au courant.L'ancien propriétaire a quand même encaissé la location quelques jours avant notre arrivée. ! Le nouveau propriétaire ne reconnaît évidemment pas la réservation. Néanmoins, il a accepté de nous loger pour le même prix. On a donc payé deux fois ! .😡 Ceci dit, il est très agréable et plein d'attention. Le logement est très bien mais loin du centre et accessible par un mauvais chemin de terre. Cependant., la vue est splendide
