The location is just a short walk from the beach. The staff are friendly. The pool is very dirty and poorly maintained. The room is small and the air‑conditioning is very noisy.
It felt peaceful. In reality, it’s not on the beach. During the period I was there, they repaired their gate at 3:00 am for two or three days, and if you’re trying to rest and relax, being woken up by banging on the door is unsettling, especially if they didn’t warn you—or at least I didn’t get a warning.
“Perfect beach front location!”
The beach is only 20 meters away and we could see the ocean from our room. Jimena was great and helpful, giving us solid dining and beach recommendations. The room was clean, simple, and nice! In the future, it would be nice if the smaller rooms had a mini‑bar to keep drinks cold. The place is fantastic.
“Excellent choice for the price.”
The hotel is small but clean, with friendly staff. The rooms are an adequate size. I travelled with my mom, my daughter, and my niece, and the four of us were comfortable in the small bungalow near the pool. The rooms have air‑conditioning even though there is no TV, which didn’t bother us. The little kitchen had a very small gas stove, fridge, sink, and utensils for cooking and eating—perfect for making breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The location is excellent—right in the heart of Zicatela beach. You literally step out of the hotel and are right in front of the big waves, so the surfing spectacle happens right there. I would definitely return to the hotel. The only downside is that the rooms don’t have a TV.
I absolutely loved it, 10/10. The place is super friendly and accessible, right across from the beach and in the heart of the city. 100% recommended.
