To start with, parking was exceptionally easy. I was able to park just a few steps from the entrance, which was a huge symbolic relief, especially since this was the first evening of my trip. Furthermore, although the staff smoked very heavily to the point of being a nuisance, they were nevertheless helpful—for instance, they made it possible to safely store my own items in a shared refrigerator overnight. Additionally, I slept very well and peacefully, and the air conditioning worked properly. I was also able to enjoy a good cup of coffee with a nice view of the park. Lastly, I really appreciated that a Lidl supermarket was just a few minutes' drive away, where I could buy familiar products from Germany, leaving me with a generally positive impression of the hotel's location overall. What I found particularly unacceptable was how heavily people smoked, especially the hotel staff. I saw employees smoking directly right in front of the main entrance so frequently that the smoke constantly drifted inside into the reception area. Many hotels in Bulgaria fail to realize that many tourists come from Northwestern Europe and North America—regions where smoking is strictly prohibited, even in outdoor dining areas. As a result, especially when traveling with children, being constantly subjected to cigarette smoke is perceived as deeply inappropriate. Even during breakfast in this hotel, you are not safe from it. While this is an issue in many Bulgarian hotels, in this case, the staff themselves even allowed the smoke to drift indoors. Furthermore, cleanliness in the room left a lot to be desired. There was a squished dead spider in the bed, and on top of that, there were suspicious brown streaks on the bedsheets
