We liked the young woman at reception who was very smiling and truly helpful. Always available and ready to assist. Hotel recommended, the rooms are large… It’s good value for money. The bathroom is a bit outdated.
This place is a real gem. The two colonial-style houses right on the Mekong River are stunning, and some rooms even have a view of the river at sunrise. The on-site restaurant serves great food, and the owners, Phet and Sonja, are super helpful and run the place with a personal touch.
The location of this hotel is great, but that's where it ends. The room was filthy, with dust and cobwebs everywhere, and I was terrified of the spiders crawling across the ceiling and walls. The breakfast was also pretty subpar, and I didn't feel like I got value for my money.
The staff are nice and helpful. The house is beautiful and the room is comfortable. The swimming pool and the garden around are top!! If it weren’t better maintained, the room would quickly get worse. A refreshment is needed. The restaurant is good but overpriced, same for rentals. You’ll find cheaper along the Mekong.
“Con i cinesi non si dorme”
The staff here, especially Sonya, are always friendly and willing to help. Unfortunately, the hotel's proximity to Chinese tourists means it can be noisy at night and during the day. The breakfast is also pretty basic, and I had a bit of a problem with the bathroom flooding during my shower.
