“The room left us feeling unsafe and the Staff was not helpful with regards to Handicap requests.”
The spot was handy for freeway access, and a gentleman who walked the grounds daily offered help without hesitation, which made my wife feel at ease. However, a gap in the front door/frame let outside humidity in, and we spotted a few roaches that probably got in through that same gap. Even though we requested handicap accommodations that were listed on the reservation, none were available. The bathtub floor was extremely slick, causing me to slip twice after two knee replacements, and there were no grab bars. When we asked the clerk about another room that could meet handicap needs or a throw mat for the tub, the reply was simply “No, all the rooms are alike,” which was not helpful.
“Enjoyed friendly faces and service”
Everything was great, and the customer service was excellent—no complaints.
The room was clean and comfortable, but we were on the second floor and would have preferred a lower level.

The staff went above and beyond; after checkout, a team member tracked me down to tell me I’d left a bag behind, and I appreciated the honesty. We tried to extend our stay for another night, but the hotel was fully booked; they didn’t just drop us, they helped us find a room at the nearby Comfort Inn, which eased the stress. Excellent service from start to finish, and we’ll definitely return next time we’re in the area.
