“I’d stay there again, but always take my phone with me, even tu o just grab something from the car.”
The room was nicely designed and furnished with quality fittings, excellent linens, and attractive décor. The two chairs were okay but not very comfortable, and there was no table between them for coffee or cocktails, so we used the desk chair with a placemat on the seat. A small fridge/freezer was a nice touch. The tub/shower had handrails but no non‑slip mat. Plenty of quality towels. Coffee was freshly supplied each morning with table cream in a fridge underneath, which also had an ice maker inside! Parking was adequate. It’s close to shops and restaurants. There is no elevator and our room was up 1‑1/2 flights from the car park, so it’s great if you’re able-bodied. The bathroom was a bit awkward because the sink had very little counter space; they tried to compensate with a second mirror, a narrow shelf, and a makeup mirror. At one point the door‑lock code was cancelled, so I was stuck outside with no phone and had to yell to my husband to let me in. It took a while, with a substitute manager, to get the code reinstated. This was a consequence of contactless entry—no human present.
