We were warmly welcomed by host Luca, who immediately gave us a relaxed feeling. We had a very large, beautiful, and somewhat “separate” room that was clean and tidy. The room featured many paintings, a nice old wardrobe, an eye‑catching wall text, and a seat with two benches. We had a kettle, cups, etc. to make tea ourselves. There was also a fairly large trash bin and a handy fridge. The bathroom was large and well‑stocked. The room and bathroom were cleaned neatly every day, and the bins were emptied regularly. The internet was good. It was also convenient that if we needed something we could just ask or grab it from the large kitchen. The kitchen was beautifully furnished with old furniture, lamps, and other accessories that Luca has collected over the years. (Luca loves buying old items to replace new or modern furniture – very nice to see). Breakfast was fine, not extensive but more than enough. Our car and bikes could be parked safely on the private, fenced property. There is a beautiful large garden with lounge chairs and various seating spots overlooking the town and the lake. Luca is a very social and helpful host who wants to make everything as pleasant as possible for his guests. He has many tips, e.g., where to eat, shop, or what to do nearby, and if something was needed he solved it quickly. Luca’s family members who live there were also very friendly. We had a great time there thanks to the fun, helpful, and very welcoming Luca. A stay at this B&B is definitely recommended. I honestly wouldn’t know.
