Herdade da Urgueira

“Tem potencial mas descura pequenos detalhes”

The location and the surrounding herdade are appealing, and the room and bathroom have good space. Cleanliness is acceptable. The herdade has potential, but like other comments, it falls short on small (big) details. Wi‑Fi never worked, and although an employee promised it would be fixed the next day due to an operator change, it never did. The sun‑lounging area and pool are somewhat neglected; despite low traffic, the loungers weren’t cleaned and lost items on the floor were not collected. Access to the pool is awkward, requiring a detour near the event tent and climbing mosaic steps. On some days the cleaning robot stayed in the pool all day. Breakfast is good, but the bread and pastries could be fresher.

“Preço elevado para o que entregam comparado com outros alojamentos.”

The room was fine for two people, but the bed felt pretty hard and I wish there were two pillows per guest for a bit more height. Each side of the bed only had one reachable outlet, the breakfast was weak and the bread and pastries never changed from one day to the next, so they really need to pay more attention to the food quality.

The pool area was great.

I liked the calm atmosphere and the friendly staff. The place is very beautiful and spacious, perfect for recharging away from the chaos. The breakfast could use improvement; the region offers high‑quality local products, and the estate could showcase them better.

The location, peace, and friendly staff were good, and the pool area with a large lawn overlooking a lake was fantastic for me. The house, despite some minor wear, worked well for us as a couple with two kids: two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a living room with a kitchenette. I think some details could be better, especially the frequency of room cleaning, the daily tidying of loungers and their cleaning, and the fact that there’s only one staff member during the day. In the last two days, the irrigation systems ran all day, watering the lawn and part of the loungers. These are minor issues that don’t affect overall satisfaction but could be fixed with better organization and an extra employee, making the stay more enjoyable and preventing small annoyances that might stop me from returning.
