The owner gave me a ban from the premises because I had given him three stars on Google. I had called an hour earlier to say I would be there at half past eight, but there was nobody at check‑in. My check‑in documents and the key were at the reception/bar to be signed, so I signed the paper and took my key. An hour later I received a phone call saying I couldn’t stay there anymore because I had given him three stars and checked myself in when his property manager was waiting for me (which he wasn’t, as we had agreed). The (Arab) owner is lying and unreasonable. Perhaps it’s because I’m a woman traveling alone, looking after my 95‑year‑old grandma, and I live abroad. I have stayed at that pension numerous times and now he is throwing me out because of one misunderstanding. I had also apologized on the phone to him, but that didn’t count.

We stayed for one night on the way. We were allowed to leave our bicycles in the storage. Dinner was good, the room was a bit dated but very clean. The furnishings feel a little old, yet everything remains spotless.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The room could only be reached via a fairly steep staircase, and the handrail was missing in parts of the stairs; ARD and ZDF were not receivable.

The room was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately it was somewhat noisy because it sits directly on the main traffic road.
