The room was clean, modern and roomy, with a TV, pocket iron, hair dryer, drying rack, soap, shampoo, towels, and an air cooler – all good by London standards. The location is a 7‑minute walk to Liverpool Street station. The narrow British stairs made carrying a lot of luggage difficult, and opening the door with the button code was a struggle, especially with nails. I asked for Wi‑Fi and an extra roll of paper but never received a reply. The bathroom was modern but the ventilation felt a bit weak; it wasn’t a big issue, but it would have improved my stay.

The rooms were clean. There were no room‑cleaning services.

The space was generous and the shower was excellent; kitchen use was included. The property is close to Liverpool Street. The key pickup was far from the building. The street was noisy, and the room was hot, so we had to open the windows—earplugs helped.

The location was good. Even though we knew the stairs were there, they were hard to carry bags up and down quietly, which was a workout in itself and added to the character of the place.
