“Wären gerne länger geblieben!”

We stayed in a bungalow that had everything you could need. The toilet and shower were in a separate “house” outside the main building, as is common on a campsite, but they were very clean. The view of the lake was lovely. We rented the sauna for three hours and could use the private dock and wood-burning stove, with plenty of wood available. The owners were very friendly and the campsite itself was truly beautiful and spacious. The bedding was provided, but towels had to be brought by guests. A cleaning service could be booked or you could clean yourself. The heating worked great. The only downside was that check‑out should be at 12:00 instead of 12:00; otherwise nothing to complain about.

“Toller Campingplatz!”

A very pretty, varied spot right by the lake! The toilets and showers were impeccably clean, and everything else was well maintained and equipped. There’s a small sauna you can book. Throughout the grounds you’ll find seating to enjoy a lovely sunset view. The German‑speaking reception staff were very friendly. The street is close, but the noise isn’t constant, not intrusive, and especially not present at night. On the downside, the rocky shore means you definitely need water shoes for swimming, which we didn’t have and couldn’t buy on the spot. The beds in the cabin felt too soft for us, but that’s how it was across Sweden, so it’s acceptable.

The location is great, right on the lake. The shower and toilets were extremely clean. The rental cabin didn’t have hot water. There are no shops on the camp, or only a few small items can be bought at the reception. Bread can only be bought by pre‑order, which we weren’t told about. The nearest store (ICA) is about 15 km away.

“Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt und würden den Campingplatz auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen!”

We stayed for three nights at this campsite and felt very comfortable. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and the whole site was clean and well kept. We had a small cabin that was equipped with everything needed, clean, and very cozy. The direct view of Vänern Lake was especially beautiful, simply dreamy! The only minor criticism: shower time is limited to 3 minutes, which is a bit tough for someone with long hair. That’s really the only point we can complain about.
