When I arrived, a guy was cleaning the pool and we chatted until the receptionist appeared; he handed us a bottle of wine and it was a blast. I felt lucky, especially because the poolside bar is a nice touch, though nobody seemed to use it, so much more could be done there, and the host we met was a great guy who could have been even more entertaining; they also have their own wine selection. The room was spacious and decent, comfortable, with up‑to‑date bathroom fixtures and a clean space. The pool was clean and pleasant once you got past the chill. On the downside, there was no receptionist when I needed one, and they wouldn’t let my friends from the hotel across the street use the bar, even though they’d have spent a lot that night. The bathroom had a terrible smell; they seemed to clean the pipes, I ran the shower for a while, but the odor persisted. The shower head leaked and there was no adjustment for it. Breakfast was basic, which is normal for the area. Local dogs barked a lot at night, so AirPods were a godsend. Double glazing would have helped, and the Wi‑Fi was okay but unreliable.

The hotel was clean, the building apparently new, and the renovation was good. We stayed in a green‑styled, three‑bedroom room. The bed was large for us, and the child had a full single bed. The room had a fridge, air‑conditioner, kettle, coffee, and cups. The bath provided shampoo, shower gel, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. Towels were clean, and there was no issue with water. In the hotel courtyard there was a pool with loungers and beach chairs. The pool water was clean, and each morning the floor was washed. The staff were friendly and responsive. Speaking Russian was poor, but we understood each other. Breakfast was a buffet with a wide selection, so you wouldn’t go hungry, and there were also fruits, watermelon, nectarine, and bananas.
