I never ordered breakfast so I can’t comment on it, but I booked the place at the last minute and was stunned by the sea‑front view; there was an unexpected historic festival and from the seventh floor the night scenery was captured on video, giving me an unforgettable memory, and I’ll definitely choose this value‑for‑money hotel again on my next Tongyeong trip.

The proximity to Sunseet made the location convenient, but the facilities looked worn, the elevator had no air‑conditioning, the bedding and bathroom weren’t cleaned, and I had to ask for a room change.

Having a convenience store inside the hotel was handy, yet the surrounding area was dirty, the sushi places were unfriendly and overcharged.

Because it wasn’t peak season the price‑to‑location ratio was good; we stayed in a triple room that was fairly spacious and booked a sea‑view room, so opening the balcony door in the morning gave an amazing ocean view, though the old hotel lacked nearby restaurants or cafés and only had karaoke bars, so you need to bring your own food or eat elsewhere, and there was a convenience store on the ground floor; for three people it was the only place we could all stay together, making it a satisfactory one‑night value stay. The mattress was bouncy so don’t expect a plush bed, the bathroom was large but chilly and the towel rack was broken; I asked for a warmer room but the central heating couldn’t be adjusted, so it stayed a bit cold. Since we had the sea‑view room, I can’t say how other views would feel, but if you’re not in a sea‑view room the stay would feel pointless.
