The welcome at the Guest House was very good! The house itself was a beautiful traditional one. The dorms were small but the bedding was comfortable, there was only one shower but several toilets and sinks. The breakfast was excellent, and I highly recommend this guest house.

This guesthouse was really lovely. I stayed in a private room for two that had traditional futons, which were very comfortable, and the shared facilities were fine. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area again.

My daughter and I absolutely loved staying here! We wanted an authentic Japanese experience in a traditional house setting, and it exceeded our expectations. The bed was surprisingly very comfortable, even though we slept on a fold‑up mattress on the floor. The interior was beautiful and traditional, just as we wanted. I was worried about noise and sharing bathrooms and only one shower with other guests, but it worked out fine – everyone was quiet and respectful. We really enjoyed the breakfast, and the owner was very nice and friendly; we had a good conversation with him over breakfast. They let us keep our luggage there for the day while we toured, and they even arranged a taxi to take us and our luggage to our next destination. The location is great and within walking distance of many local attractions. I would love to stay there again. Nothing negative.

For a quick overnight stay, the place is charming, close to the beach and the station. You have access to a fridge, tea, and the common areas are great. Thanks for the recommendations – I arrived late and the front‑desk man advised me on open places (not many after 10 pm). The futon was unfortunately not comfortable at all, but the dorm space was adequate.
