The room was large with a nice bathroom, but the shower cabin promised a sauna effect that never worked because the buttons were broken, and we had to keep calling reception to adjust the air conditioning.

We had been here before, so we already knew what to expect, and it turned out to be a smooth stopover. My travel companion had left some items behind, but the hotel kept them carefully and handed them over to her when we arrived after midnight. We were greeted perfectly, though there is always room for improvement, but nothing was missing at this point.

“Un bel hôtel d'étape”

The room was comfortable and clean, and the reception was friendly, yet the hotel was hard to locate because the address listed was wrong; it’s actually in Carimate, 12 km from Como. The bathtub was slippery and could use a non‑slip mat, and we had to call reception to set the air conditioning. The room could use better lighting for reading.
