We had a really nice stay at this guest house. The balcony views are amazing, the bed and bathroom are clean and comfy, and the location is very convenient (just a short walk from the city centre). What made the stay special was the lovely host Kalei. She ensured we were extra comfortable, helped with laundry, gave great recommendations, and let us taste her delicious homegrown avocados. It was great to chat and spend time with her! Thank you so much 🥰 The road is quite noisy, and the bed itself is a little loud when moving. These are just minor issues. You definitely miss out if you don’t stay with Kalei in Haputale. ☺️

The place is super clean, the room is spacious with plenty of light, the bed is comfortable, and there’s a table equipped with an electric kettle, tea, and coffee; hot water is available in the bathroom. The large terrace features a couch, tables, and chairs with a nice view. It’s close to the road, so it isn’t a quiet spot, but that didn’t bother me since I was out all day. Traffic is light at night, so I slept well. The city isn’t far, and there’s a shortcut that connects to the road up. The owner is a genuinely nice person, and I’ll definitely come back again—thanks for the hospitality!
