“erholsam und erlebnisreich”

We were welcomed warmly and taken care of. The guesthouse is very quiet, and even with the window open we slept well. The breakfast, especially the rolls from Mr. Steker, was excellent and plentiful. They kept checking if anything was missing and refilled as needed. The beautiful garden could be seen from the balcony and the breakfast room. The path to Bad Driburg is only about 750 m to the spa park. There’s a lot to discover nearby (beautiful spa park, arboretum) and further away (Höxter, Detmold, Paderborn). We felt very comfortable and thank the staff for their friendly care. Best regards from Ilmenau. On bad weather days the thermal spa is recommended. The weather didn’t cooperate, but that’s not the accommodation’s fault.

“Prima!”

The location was quiet. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was great. The garden was nice. The host liked to chat and gave good tips. It’s nice that bikes can be stored inside. The beds were a bit too soft for us, but that’s personal.

The location is perfect for anyone looking for peace or a bit of wandering; you’re about a 5‑minute walk to the Kurpark and roughly 10 minutes to the town. The owners are incredibly friendly and warm, and the whole house feels lovingly decorated. A beautiful, well‑kept, spacious garden invites you to stroll around. Breakfast is nicely presented and fully stocked. The self‑serve coffee machine available all day and the well‑filled fridge with a secure cash box were definitely highlights for me.

A lovely, quiet spot on the edge of town. Every room has a terrace or balcony overlooking a gorgeous garden. The breakfast area is nice, and the meal itself is plentiful and tasty. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating.
