The place is excellently located a block from Plaza de Armas, and the staff were friendly. However, the Wi‑Fi kept failing, and I couldn’t connect from my laptop at all; on top of that, there was so much static in my room that I got shocked about 25 times, even while sleeping, and once a spark even burned me when I tried plugging in my phone.

The staff were very courteous, and the bed and pillows were comfortable; the curtains, nightstand, and hangers were fine. Yet the stay left a lot to be desired in several details: the bathroom was too small, the shower lacked a proper divider or tray so water dripped into the bedroom, the drain was partially clogged and water drained slowly; hot water only worked at night, not in the morning; the TV offered only free‑to‑air channels and we were never given the Wi‑Fi password despite asking; we were only given small towels, promised large ones that never arrived; the sheets were somewhat stained and had scorch marks from the iron.

It’s a block from Plaza Mayor, but the room next to reception was noisy, making it hard to rest, the sheets were dirty with hair, I requested a change, and they never sold hot drinks.
