Agriturismo Barbi, nestled in southern Tuscany, overlooks Val d'Orcia and offers 2 stone farmhouses with traditional apartments featuring terracotta floors and whitewashed walls. Self-catering apartments have kitchenettes, free parking, and Wi-Fi. The estate produces extra virgin olive oil and chickpeas. A large garden with BBQ facilities and shared spaces complements the property, 2 km from Monticchiello, 12 km from Montepulciano.

The welcome was magnificent, with friendly anecdotes and Vilmo plus his assistant available at all times—just perfect. The view was obviously incredible, endless vistas of the Tuscan mountains, and the apartment lived up to our expectations of a complete Tuscan ambiance with modern comfort. Thanks, Vilmo, and I hope to return soon for another stay and great conversations. We felt well‑recharged. Thanks, Nathalie and Michael from Luxembourg. The view of Tuscany is exceptional, and the location is great for visiting nearby villages. The welcome was pleasant and the recommended spots were very good. From our apartment, there was no view; you had to leave the room to see it. There was no terrace near the room for dinner or breakfast. Overall comfort was basic, though everything needed was present. Wi‑Fi was very spotty.

We spent two nights at Agriturismo Barbi and loved it; the owner welcomed us wonderfully, gave excellent tips on what to do, and was an exceptionally friendly guy, Mr Vilmo. We’ll definitely return, and the highlight was watching the simply stunning sunset.
