The room was surprisingly tidy and had a pleasant scent, and the location is quite charming. Unfortunately there was no breakfast included – you have to order it separately or head into town, even though the listing said it was provided. To make matters worse, a rain‑induced power cut hit around 10 pm and left us in the dark until the next morning with no staff around after 7 pm to help.

The facilities are solid and the hot‑tub is a real treat, making for a relaxing stay. Getting to the property, however, is a bit of a hassle – the road leading up is narrow and confusing.
