“dirty, full of cockroaches and the owner is complety crazy”
The location was great, close to many nice restaurants, but that’s about it. The room was dirty: mold on the mattress cover, a dirty bathroom, old moldy soap in the shower, and cockroaches. The place looked abandoned based on the photos they posted. I asked for a new mattress cover and they said they couldn’t, but after I complained to the booking site they changed it. They claimed they would put me in another room, but that never happened. One night I accidentally broke the key in the door lock and found a cockroach on my bed, plus more outside flying over my head as I left. I wrote to the owner and left five days early. The owner finally texted me the next morning, angry that I broke the key. When I returned to collect my stuff she threatened to deport me if I didn’t remove my complaint and pay her four times the real price to repair the key (I offered to fix it myself but she refused). So it was a very bad experience, no refund for the days I stayed elsewhere, the owner is completely crazy, and I don’t recommend this place at all. For the price you can get a lot better in Bali; this was honestly the worst experience I’ve had on any vacation. I normally wouldn’t write a review for a dirty accommodation, but the way the staff and owner handled it left me speechless and made me feel unsafe, something I never expected in Bali.
