“Schönes Hotel”
Very courteous and helpful staff. Spacious and very clean room. A fan was available for the hot summer temperatures. Breakfast was fine. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel is old, but what it has works. In warm weather it’s quite bearable without air‑conditioning or a fan. Across the street there’s a snack bar and a 24/7 ice machine, and the hotel itself seems to have a restaurant (it was somewhat dark, I’m not sure if it was open). Breakfast starts at 7 am, which is too late for me during the week, so I skipped it. There are plenty of free parking spots nearby (not at the hotel). In the shower cabin there were hair remnants from the previous guest, not only at the drain but also in the corners; I couldn’t get them out with the tap, so I used paper to remove them. The rest (toilet, room) was very clean. What I find unacceptable is that IDs are scanned without warning. I understand the need to verify booking details, but taking the ID, turning to the computer, and secretly placing it on a scanner under the screen feels unprofessional, especially when done so quickly that you can’t refuse. I overlook many things, but this ends the fun. That’s why I rate it 3.
