The suites are sleek, spotless and fully equipped, offering plenty of quiet privacy.
It’s in an ideal and quiet location, yet close to the lively streets of the old town.
The staff were super helpful, even giving us a lift to the airport.

The rooms were clean and the staff was amazing! They picked us up from the bus station and drove us to the train station! The breakfast was delicious and they offered us coffee and tea! The hotel itself was simply amazing! A true Tibetan house very beautiful! The rooms were very well decorated and spacious! The courtyard was very beautiful!
The place is hidden behind a simple wooden door that opens onto a large timber house where the reception sits. Each guest gets their own little cabin‑style room; we stayed in one that looked out over Shangri‑La, with a big bed, a cosy sitting area, tea sets, tables and a glass‑enclosed terrace, all tastefully done. The owners were incredibly attentive, shuttling us to the train station and Potatso National Park with genuine warmth.
The inn sits right in the centre, so the old town is just a five‑minute walk and a handful of tiny supermarkets are literally at the doorstep. We were met at the train station on arrival and again for our departure, and the hosts even upgraded us to a larger room for the same price. They drove us personally to the Balagezong Grand Canyon, added an extra viewpoint stop, waited the whole day for a fee of 1,000 yuan, and gave us free coffee in the morning and a bottle of water each in the evening.
“Un posto magico!”
Everything, starting with the apartment that was a real chalet, super spacious and equipped with every comfort. Carefully furnished with details. The owner was also super kind and always available, always giving us recommendations for places and activities. He also accompanied us to the station, a unique kindness! Thanks again.
“10 e lode”
The host was absolutely wonderful and the apartment we rented was stunning, plus breakfast was delicious. The only thing that fell short was the towel service – I would have liked fresh towels and refilled water bottles, though I’m sure they would have obliged if I’d asked.
