“Disappointed for the price. Needs a lot of work.No deposit back into account”
The place was decent, with a great view, but the room felt outdated and clearly needed a renovation; we paid full price only to learn two weeks after our departure that it was under renovation. Breakfast was not included, which I thought should be part of the rate, and we had to pay extra for paddleboards, kayaks, and other equipment, which was disappointing. The pool was acceptable but also in need of work, and the gym was very small. Overall, the cost—$800 per night—was too high for what we received. After leaving, I was told three weeks later that I had to contact my bank to get a refund on my deposit, a process I had never had to go through with a hotel before. When room service delivered a warm beer and split straws, I couldn’t enjoy the cocktail I ordered. I wouldn’t stay again or recommend this place, especially when there are nicer, cheaper hotels on the island. The walk to the room was long and disorganised, and I was told three times that the deposit had been returned to my account, but it never appeared. I asked for a transaction copy and was again directed to my bank—definitely not good enough.
